Publishing & Rollback

How to publish changes safely with instant rollback.

How publishing works

When you publish from Aubly:

  1. A pre-change snapshot is saved (the current live version)
  2. Your changes are pushed to the remote site
  3. A post-change snapshot is saved (the new version)
  4. The change is logged in the audit trail

Viewing history

Every content item has a Snapshots section showing all saved versions. Click "View all & compare" to see the full history.

Comparing versions

Click "diff" next to any snapshot to see a word-level comparison between two versions. Deletions appear in red, additions in green.

Rolling back

On the diff page, click "↩ Restore this version" to push the old content back to your live site. A rollback snapshot is created so you can undo the rollback if needed.

Important notes

  • Rollback pushes content to the live site immediately
  • History is never deleted — you can always restore any version
  • Rollbacks are logged in the audit trail
